PRODUCT INFORMATION

What kind of photo looks best printed on wood?

WoodSnap recommends light colored photos (ex: open skies). The less ink that is used, the more the wood grain will show through!

How do you Print a Photo on Wood?

We have spent years perfecting our process of treating and printing on the highest grade plywood. One of the reasons we are the industry's best in wood printing is because we infuse the ink INTO the wood like a tattoo, allowing our colors to remain vibrant while having the wood grain show through. This is what gives our wood panels a very natural and earthy look. We DO NOT use any white ink, so anything white in your photo will be actually be the natural wood color showing through. We also use UV coating in our ink so it protects against sun exposure. Our prints are durable, vibrant and turn your photos into works of art!

What is the difference between a wood print & a photo block?

For wood prints we use birch panels to print your photos. With this process it allows the natural material of the wood to appear through the image in lighter areas giving it a special characteristic, making it one of a kind. No two wood panels are the same so each panel have different grains. This also means the color of your image will achieve a slightly warmer feel to it as well. Wood photo blocks print on premium grade luster photo paper, which is a more traditional print method. This allows for your image color & clarity to remain just how you captured it or uploaded it. Wood blocks are only available in bamboo & black walnut.

What file format do you accept?

The best file format to send to us is a high resolution jpg or tiff. We do recommend photos sent at 300 dpi to ensure a high quality print. We will take care of that for you!

Do You Offer Photo Proofs?

You are able to proof your order by clicking on each image after it has been added to the shopping cart. Please double check the cropping to make sure you are happy with the image size. If you would like a proof emailed by the customer service team, there is an additional $10 proof fee. Please note, production turnaround time begins after you have approved the proof. How are you able to print directly on the wood?

We have a team of little, magical elves that use their mystical mind powers to print directly on your wood canvas!

Will my WoodSnap look exactly like my photo/illustration?

It will not be an exact replication. It will look even better! We are printing on wood.  The distinct character, blemishes and wood grain of each canvas will meld with your photo creating a one of a kind print. Since we do not use white ink, ANY white in your photo will be the natural color of the wood showing. This gives it a warm, natural and “yellower” tone throughout your photo. Please be advised regarding this and our return policy.

Does my WoodSnap come with a stand?

5"X7", 6"X6", 8"X8", 8"X10", 8"X12", 11"X14" & 12"X12" Vintage Matte & Bright White prints will include a desktop stand. (*Excludes Cove Edge Prints)

5"X7", 6"X6", 8"X8", 8"X10", 8"X12", & 11"X14" Bamboo Wood Prints will include a desktop stand.

Do you offer custom sized wood prints?

If there's a particular size/ratio you are looking for that we do not have listed on our website, we do offer custom sizing. Since this is considered a special order product, please be aware that production time is 5-7 business days (During major holidays: 7-10 business days). Custom sized wood prints are excluded from discounts and promotions.

How do I mount my WoodSnap on the wall?

We have created a Portrait and Landscape slot on the back to easily slide your custom photo canvas on to a wall screw.

How do I take care of a WoodSnap print?

WoodSnap prints are easy to care for! Use a damp rag and simply wipe them off!

ORDERING

How long will my order take to complete (turnaround time)?

Turnaround time for an order is usually between3 - 5 business daysafter it is placed. Please allow 2 - 3 weeks wait time if your order is a custom sized print. If your photo requires any editing, or you request a proof before printing, the turnaround time may increase.

What is your turnaround time for the Holiday Season?

Due to extremely high volumes, we will process orders in approximately5-10 business days (Mon-Fri)lead time. If you are concerned about meeting a holiday deadline please consult with customer service prior to placing your order. We do offer Rush Options so please contact customer service if your order is time sensitive or if you have any further questions.

Do you offer rush orders?

Yes we do! We offer a variety of rush orders options. You can select from3-Day production, 2-Day production and Next day production.*These do not include ship times. Normal production times are3-5 business days (3-7 business days during Holidays, effective 11/21).All orders placed before noon (12PM) PST will count for that day's production. For example, an order placed on Monday before noon (12PM) PST withNext day rushwill ship out on Tuesday. *Ship time depends on method customer selects. What payment options do you accept?

We accept Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Discover, and Paypal. All prices are quoted in USD.

SHIPPING & RETURNS

What are your shipping options?

All domestic orders can ship via FedEx or USPS. If you are shipping to a PO Box or Military Address, it must go USPS and we will send it that way by default. All International orders ship via FedEx. Please note: WoodSnap does NOT pay for duties and taxes on international shipments. Because of the unknown time customs can take, we cannot guarantee delivery times on international orders. Please note: Shipping times are based on business days. See the shipping provider for Ground and International transit times.

Do you offer will calls?
